The method
Eight steps, one point of contact.
- Understanding the project
We meet the designer at their studio, on site or in our showroom: aesthetic goals, budget, timing, technical constraints.
- Shared specification
Materials, sizes, thicknesses, finishes, installation systems and technical clauses. We propose equivalent-effect alternatives when the budget requires it.
- Samples
Material and finish samples and fabrication tests, for approval before ordering.
- Survey, shop drawings and cutting schedules
Our technical office surveys the site and draws every piece: numbered, dimensioned, vein-matched.
- Production
Cutting and fabrication in our Capo di Ponte workshop: 5-axis waterjet, CNC, 45° mitring, polishing and hand finishing.
- Logistics
Deliveries with our own crane trucks and vans, including central Milan and outside normal hours, synchronised with the site.
- Installation
In-house teams specialising in stone, large-format porcelain and raised floors, supported by trusted subcontractors.
- Aftercare
Clear site accounting, support after handover, maintenance and treatments over time.

For every project we open a private virtual room for your studio: the Moncini technical office and our technical sales engineer work with you there, from the first idea to handover.

Supply network
Long-standing relationships with those who produce the materials.
We buy directly from quarries and sawmills: Italian and international marbles, granites, quartzites, Alpine stones such as Dorato della Valmalenco.
Fiandre, Marazzi, Porcelanosa, Florim, Laminam, Italgraniti and other brands: large formats, thin slabs, technical and anti-slip ranges.
Raised floor pedestals, Profilpas trims, installation systems and Mapei and Fila products: all from a single supplier.
Tarkett for LVT, PVC and carpet, traditional parquet and Clip Up Garbelotto on raised floors.
In-house teams for what matters most, subcontractors selected and supervised by us for peak workloads: the same quality on every square metre.

Frequently asked questions
Can you help us write the specification?
Yes: we propose materials, thicknesses, finishes, installation systems and technical clauses, with alternatives of equal visual quality where needed to stay within budget. The designer stays in charge; we provide the technical tools. In the reserved area you will find ready-made standard specification clauses.
Do you provide samples?
Yes, material and finish samples and, where needed, fabrication tests on joints, edges and interlocking details, for approval before ordering. For the most important projects we prepare full-scale mock-ups.
Do you work as subcontractors for contractors?
Yes, as supply-and-install subcontractors for general contractors and construction companies, with up-to-date safety documentation, ISO 9001 certification and SOA qualification for public contracts.
Do you take part in tenders?
Yes: we support the contractor during the tender stage with specification analysis, bills of quantities, technical data sheets, certifications and value-engineering proposals.
